Project Overview

Deipnon is a fashion film centered around three mythological goddesses Hekate, Artemis, and Selene whose intertwined roles unfold within a ritualistic narrative of prophecy, gathering, and sacrifice.

The story begins with Selene discovering through tarot reading that the time of the ritual is approaching. She immediately contacts Hekate, who in turn alerts Artemis. The three goddesses converge at Selene’s home, where they prepare for the ceremonial act that binds them together.

A solitary prince becomes the chosen sacrifice, after which the goddesses hold a symbolic feast among themselves. The narrative constructs a ritualistic atmosphere where mythology, femininity, and power dynamics are expressed through visual storytelling and ceremonial imagery.

The film was created as a collaborative project between the Cinema and Digital Media Department and the Fashion Design Department, emphasizing the intersection of cinematic language and fashion storytelling. The costume worn by Artemis in the film is designed by Dina Mahrouz.
